I don't know why I haven't thought of this outfit before, but that's just the beauty of this green top-I can wear it with everything! I received quite a few odd looks this morning in this outfit but I guess I'm used to it.

I didn't want to bore people with more Breakfast at Tiffany's rants, so I've instead decided to talk about another iconic fashion moment of Audrey Hepburn's. And no I'm not talking about Funny Face either; Sabrina is one of my all time favourite rom-coms-no Katherine Heigl for me thank you very much. Audrey stars alongside William Holden and Humphrey Bogart as a chauffeur's daughter, desperately in love with the womanizer David, though it proves to be his brother Linus who she eventually falls for. Sabrina is a classic rags to riches tale featuring a particularly beautiful dress, after which the Sabrina neckline was named. (a high, wide, slightly curved neckline that passes past the collarbones and hangs on both shoulders).

At the moment I have an unhealthy obsession with the 1970s. I ask for nothing more than a pair of dark wash wide leg jeans, and you know.... all the shoes in the world..... I have taken to wearing wide brimmed hats everyday of the week and as I type this I am wearing a fur cape.
Annie Hall, of course is one of those movies that really embodies the style of 1970s androgyny. The above picture is one of the most memorable fashion moments in movie history, but there were plenty more stunning outfits throughout the movie. It also helps that Annie Hall is a great film with an unpredictable plot and some hilarious one liners.

Still can't get over the Spring 2011 Hermes show. It's one part Spanish Bandit, the other part equestrian and I just can't help but incorporate it into my every outfit meaning that this hat has become more of an essential than just a favourite, that and John Lennon glasses, but that's a different story.
